Seminar in Uzbekistan: Packaging Solutions as a Business Growth Driver

20.04.2026

The seminar was attended by representatives of the meat processing industry, semi-finished product manufacturers, dairy producers, food service companies, and packaging and ingredient suppliers. Participants spanned Uzbekistan, as well as Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Armenia, and Georgia.

The event's relevance was further enhanced by the limited international business activity, which has increased local producers' need for up-to-date information on global and regional trends.

Atlantis-Pack was represented at the seminar by Artem Tatarov, Head of Marketing; Natalia Polyakova, Senior Product Manager; and David Tselikovsky, Senior Regional Sales Manager.

The food market in Uzbekistan is rapidly developing. Consumers are increasingly choosing products based on price and quality, demand for prepared foods is growing, and retail chains and the hospitality industry are expanding. Under these conditions, it is important for producers not only to produce high-quality products but also to ensure their shelf life, attractive appearance, and convenience for consumers. Therefore, the role of modern packaging is becoming increasingly important.

At the seminar, our company presented solutions that help clients address these challenges. Artem Tatarov presented a range of DIPLEX multilayer casings, which feature temperature-sensitive oxygen and water vapor permeability, allowing for optimized smoking and storage processes. Research data on the shelf life of sausages in DIPLEX casings, which can last up to 60 days, was reviewed. The audience was particularly interested in DIPLEX Naturex casings in both straight and ring-shaped versions.

Furthermore, the presentation highlighted key trends in the food industry and packaging in the Russian and Uzbek markets. Demand for barrier and permeable sausage casings, high-barrier bags, and films is growing. The segment of portioned and individual mini-packaging is developing. Minimalism, QR code marking, and environmentally sustainable solutions are in demand in design.

In her presentation, Natalia Polyakova presented products such as the AMIFLEX-Mini casing using AMIPAK DF technology, which requires no soaking and has a shelf life of over 30 days without secondary packaging. She also interested the participants in the new FIBROCEL casing as an alternative to fibrous casings. Among the sausage and frankfurter products, the presentation focused on the iPil-Chereva Pro casing in vibrant colors, as well as cheese sticks in iPil Pro and AMIPAK.

The participants' interest was lively and practical: manufacturers were looking for specific solutions they could implement. This means that such meetings directly influence future orders and the development of cooperation.

The more actively we promote our products in new markets, such as Uzbekistan, the more sustainable the company's operations become. This is a step toward increasing the company's customer base and orders. This means production runs smoothly, the warehouse operates reliably, and employees have opportunities for growth and income growth.
