Description

AMISTYLE FT is a multilayer, high-barrier film for food packaging using flow-bag/flow-vac technology (a replacement for shrink bags). AMISTYLE FT is made from polyamide, polyolefin, polyethylene terephthalate, EvOH, and an adhesive (modified polyethylene).

Application

AMISTYLE FT film is designed for vacuum packaging of various food products (meat products, chilled and frozen meat, chilled and frozen poultry, sausages and deli products, chilled and frozen fish, cheeses and cheese products) in order to increase shelf life.

Advantages

The polyethylene terephthalate (PET) outer layer provides not only excellent optical properties (shine and transparency) but also heat resistance, allowing for overlapping sealing of packaging units without the risk of them fusing together.

The polyamide (PA) layer provides excellent strength properties to the film.

Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EvOH) provides high oxygen barriers and ensures:
— microbiological stability of products during storage
— inhibition of oxidative processes that lead to rancidity of fats contained in food products

The polyethylene (PE) inner layer allows for sealing over a wide temperature range, forming a hermetic seal, and acts as a barrier to water vapor (no weight loss during storage).

High heat shrinkage allows for the most effective display of the packaged product, making it stand out on the shelf.

Low curl and excellent film slip allow for high-speed packaging.

The film's low specific gravity (kg/m²) ensures an optimal product-to-package weight ratio.

Multicolor or full-color. Printing is done using flexographic printing, and the inks are resistant to boiling, grease, and mechanical damage.
