Application

AMISTAYL SR films are used as a top film for secondary packaging of various food products (meat products, chilled meat, chilled poultry, sausages and deli products, chilled fish, cheeses and cheese products) using thermoforming technology using a vacuum or modified gas environment in order to increase shelf life.

Advantages

The outer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) layer provides excellent optical properties (shine and transparency) and heat resistance.

The polyamide (PA) layer provides excellent strength.

Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EvOH) provides high oxygen barriers and ensures:
— microbiological stability of products during storage;
— inhibition of oxidative processes that lead to rancidity of fats contained in food products.

The inner polyethylene (PE) layer allows for welding over a wide temperature range, forming a hermetic seal, and acts as a barrier to water vapor (no weight loss during storage).

The film's low specific gravity (kg/m2) ensures an optimal product-to-packaging weight ratio.

Multicolor or full-color printing. Flexographic printing is used, and the inks are resistant to heat, grease, and mechanical damage.
