Description

AMISTAYL SR-T/VR-T – multilayer high-barrier heat-shrinkable films for packaging food products using form-shrink technology (thermoforming + heat-shrinking) as top and bottom films.

Application

They are used as top and bottom films on various types of molding equipment equipped with heat-shrinkable modules.

Advantages

The outer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) layer provides excellent optical properties (gloss and transparency) and heat resistance.

The polyamide (PA) layer provides excellent film strength.

Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EvOH) provides high oxygen barriers and ensures:
— microbiological stability of products during storage;
— inhibition of oxidative processes that lead to rancidity of fats contained in food products.

The inner polyethylene (PE) layer enables welding over a wide temperature range, forming a hermetic seal, and acts as a barrier to water vapor (no weight loss during storage).

The biaxial orientation of the film ensures uniform stretching during the molding process and excellent strength properties (including at the corners).

The low specific gravity of the film (kg/m2) ensures an optimal product-to-package weight ratio.

AMISTYLE SR-T/VR-T films can be printed in single, multi, or full colors. Printing is done using a flexographic process, and the inks are resistant to boiling, grease, and mechanical damage.
