The world's first easy-to-peel plastic-based casing, iPeel enables the production of products with the traditional organoleptic characteristics of products in cellulose, protein, and natural casings.

Application

The iPeel casing is used for packaging, storing and selling smoked processed cheeses and cheese sticks.

Advantages

1. Easy removal. Optimal adhesion of iPeel to the cheese mass ensures easy removal of the casing from the finished product.

2. Excellent permeability during production. iPeel casings are permeable to smoke and water vapor. This allows for roasting and smoking. Products acquire the traditional smoked flavor and aroma characteristic of products in cellulose, protein, and natural casings.

3. Hygienic. The polymers used to produce iPeel casings are inert to bacteria and mold. This improves the hygienic properties of both the casing itself and the finished product.

4. High heat resistance and mechanical strength. The polymers used in iPeel production significantly expand the temperature range of the casing compared to protein and cellulose analogues.

5. Optimal permeability properties during storage compared to protein and cellulose casings at standard storage temperatures (+2…+6 °C) of finished products. IPeel has optimal values for permeability to oxygen and water vapor.

Seal

Printing on iPeel casings is virtually unlimited, unlike printing on cellulose casings. You can utilize the full range of options available for modern product labeling. iPeel casings can be printed single- or double-sided. The number of print colors ranges from 1+0 to 6+6.

The ring version only supports:
– single-sided printing with "front side" positioning;
– double-sided printing without positioning (i.e., if the original layout is "background printing").
