Description

iCel is a highly permeable casing for cooked, cooked-smoked, raw-smoked, and semi-smoked sausages, as well as sliced products. AiCel casings can be used on automatic and semi-automatic equipment.

Application

The highly permeable iCel casing is designed for the production, packaging, storage and sale of cooked sausages, cooked hams, cooked-smoked sausages, semi-smoked and dry-cured sausages, and slicing products.

Advantages

1. The smoke-permeable iCel casing allows for roasting and smoking, imparting a pleasant traditional smoked flavor and aroma to products, promoting the formation of a coagulated protein crust and a glossy surface beneath the casing.

2. The high mechanical strength of iCel casings allows for use with high-performance automatic and semi-automatic clipping machines, ensuring high production speeds and shape stability.

3. The high elasticity of the casing allows for overstuffing.

4. High oxygen barrier properties compared to protein and viscose-reinforced casings provide the following advantages:
— reduction of oxidative processes, particularly the rancidity of bacon;
— preservation of the individual flavor of spices in the finished product throughout its shelf life.

5. The high heat resistance of the polymers used in the production of iCel casings significantly expands the temperature range of their use compared to cellulose casings. The casing is resistant not only to high smoking temperatures (up to 75–85°C) but also to prolonged exposure to them.

6. Microbiological resistance. The polymers used in the production of iCel casings are inert to bacteria and mold. This improves the hygienic properties of both the casing itself and the finished product.

Seal

The iCel casing can be printed on one or two sides. Printing can be done in one to six colors. Full-color printing is also possible. On the iCel ring casing, printing can be placed on the inside, outside, or side of the ring. The print location must be specified when placing the order.

Delivery forms

Corrugated in 38, 50, or 62 m lengths per corrugated box; for ring casings – 25 or 31 m. Custom orders with additional features are available: corrugation; corrugated box with a loop under the back clip; customization of the corrugated box's length and footage.
