Description

FIBROSMOK casing is a single-layer matte casing with a rough surface texture. Its appearance is similar to viscose-reinforced casings. Its permeability to water vapor and gases is lower than that of other permeable casings. Products in this casing have a subtle smoked aroma and minimal moisture loss during heat treatment and storage. FIBROSMOK casings can be used on automatic and semi-automatic equipment.

Application

FIBROSMOK casing is designed for the production of all types of semi-smoked, cooked-smoked, cooked sausages and hams, produced using technologies that include smoking (roasting with smoke)

Advantages

1. The smoke permeability of the FIBROSMOK casing allows for roasting and smoking, imparting a pleasant, distinctive smoked flavor and aroma to the product.

2. The high mechanical strength of the FIBROSMOK casing allows for loaves to be formed on various types of clipping machines, ensuring high production speeds. Unlike protein casings, the risk of clip damage is significantly lower. The filling speed of the FIBROSMOK casing is equal to or higher than that of protein and viscose-reinforced casings.

3. The high elasticity of the casing allows for overfilling of 12-14%.

4. High oxygen barrier properties compared to natural, protein, and viscose-reinforced casings provide the following advantages:
— reduction of oxidative processes, particularly the rancidity of lard;
— preservation of the individual flavor of spices in the finished product throughout its entire shelf life.

5. Low water vapor permeability. FIBROSMOK casing is an economical alternative to natural, protein, and viscose-reinforced casings, as it ensures lower moisture loss during heat treatment and storage (it has been proven that thermal loss of products in FIBROSMOK casings is 2-2.5 times lower than in protein and viscose-reinforced casings).

6. High heat resistance. The temperature range of FIBROSMOK casings is significantly wider than that of natural and protein casings. The casing is resistant not only to high smoking temperatures (up to 80-85°C) but also to prolonged exposure to them.

7. Microbiological resistance. The materials used to produce FIBROSMOK casings are inert to bacteria and mold. This improves the hygienic properties of both the casing itself and the finished product.

Single- or double-sided printing. Printing colors range from 1 to 6. Full-color printing is also available. Printing on the ring casing can be located on the inside, outside, or side of the ring. Marking location must be specified when placing the order.
